Emmett Hunt's diary Entry March 12, 1890

Most beautiful day sunny and bright Wooded up then lay at our moorings till11 pm when we pulled scow of ware off from beach and ran for town.

Harbor History Museum: Gig Harbor, WA, United States; The museum provides visitors with a journey through the history of the Gig Harbor Peninsula. The museum contains: permanent exhibit galleries, a Special Exhibitions Gallery with 3-5 changing exhibits each year, a restored 1893 one-room schoolhouse, a 65-foot purse seine fishing vessel, and the first Thunderbird sailboat ever built.
