Emmett Hunt's Diary Entry January 28, 1891
Nice, calm, quiet day. In morn ran out and towed in the sand scow, and in getting away from it got a hole stove in our starboard side just at waters line -- trimmed her heavily to port and ran to shipyard and got patched up again.

Calm and mild. Well! got to bed last night at 1:30 this morning -- nice time to expect to start out again at 7 --- we didn't expect it nor didn't go till ten. Then Mollie went with us and now after 8 hrs towing on said 6 sections from B. Cove we tie up at Dexter Horton & Co.s brickyard in West Passage and shall sleep.
