Weather just the same as the past few days, i.e., foggy morn and fair P.M. Tinkered some on the boat in A.M. P.M. went over to the Island for recreation and returned about bedtime. Too much time wasted these last few days for our "banking business."

Fair again so steamed up to McNeil's again and got over with 10 tons of Nussey's hay & came home again.

Very fine day & this morn showed the first visible frost over this section of country this Autumn. Worked all day on the road.

Nice sunny day & warm. Did some more painting etc on the boat. Find have had some lumber stolen. I swear I'll make the first one sorry that I find guilty of some of these acts going on about here.
